Applying false lashes may seem tricky if you've never done it — but with pre-glued lash clusters it really is a matter of press & go. No messing with glue, no half an evening in front of the mirror. In this step-by-step guide we show you exactly how to create a full, natural look in a few minutes.
What makes lash clusters so easy?
Instead of one long strip, you apply small clusters spread along your lash line. That gives a much more natural result, and you decide how full you go. Our press on lash clusters are also pre-glued: the adhesive is already on. You simply press them on.
For a natural look you use about 5 clusters per eye, in lengths of 10, 12 and 14 mm — the longest on the outside, the shortest towards your inner corner. One box contains 36 clusters.
The most important rule: oil-free, and lashes before skincare
Oil is the adhesive's biggest enemy. Oil, cream or serum on your lashes makes the clusters hold less well and come off sooner. So:
- Make sure your lashes are completely clean, oil-free and dry. No mascara, eye cream, serum or oil on the lash line.
- Apply your lashes before your skincare. Clusters first, only then your face products — and go gently around your eyes.
What you need
- Your set of press on lash clusters (pre-glued)
- An applicator or tweezers for precision (handy, not required)
- A lash curler, a mirror and good light
Step by step: how to apply lash clusters
- Start with clean, oil-free, dry lashes, before your skincare.
- Curl your natural lashes so the clusters blend in seamlessly.
- Lay out your clusters from long to short, so you know which goes where.
- Pick up the first (longest) cluster with your applicator or tweezers.
- Place it underneath your own lashes, 1–2 mm from your lash line — never on your skin. Start at the outer corner and work inwards.
- Gently press your own lashes and the clusters together so they blend seamlessly. Done — just press & go!
Tips for a flawless look
- Work in good light and take your time the first time. After a few goes you'll do it on autopilot.
- Keep 1–2 mm away from your lash line. Too close can make your own lashes break and irritate your eyes.
- Leave a little space at the inner corner for comfort.
- Mascara? Not needed, the clusters already give volume. If you do use it, only on the tips — never at the base.
- The first 24 hours: avoid water, steam, rubbing and oil-based products around your eyes so the adhesive can bond properly.
